Institute of Rural Development and Landscape Management

The Institute of Rural Development and Landscape Management was founded in 2016 after merging of Károly Robert College (Gyöngyös), Eszterházy Károly College (Eger) and Jászberény College (Jászberény) to establish Eszterházy Károly University.

The main tasks of the institute are teaching, curriculum development and education organization of the following majors:

• Agrobusiness and Rural Development Engineer at ISCED level 5 (higher-education vocational training).
• Rural Development Agricultural Engineering (BSc)
• Wildlife Management Engineering (BSc)
• Rural Development Engineering (MSc)

The institute is committed to ensure qualified higher education, furthermore to insure competitive degree for students. During educational activities the institute closely cooperate with other departments, institutes and faculties of the university, moreover research institutes of Research and Innovation Centre. Due to the research potencial of these latter institutes we can help the education, thesis writing and scientific activity of students.
