Exploring Hungarian culture in Budapest and Szentendre
Utolsó módosítás: 2017. April 13.
On Friday 7 April a large group of international students Judit Tóth, teacher and intercultural coordinator participated in a one day study tour in order to get more familiar with the Hungarian capital and the beautiful town of Szentendre.
This was the first time –but certainly not the last one-that our students from Eger Campus and Gyöngyös Campus have gone on a trip together. The 43 students represented all together 18 nations.
The program started by sightseeing in Hero's Square, followed by a guided tour in the stunning building of the Hungarian Parliament which really impressed everyone. They also climbed Gellért hill where they could enjoy the breathtaking panorama of our capital.
In the afternoon the students visited the open air ethnographic museum of Szentendre before having some free time in the city-centre. The program ended by visiting the famous Kovács Margit Múzeum.
During all this day, the students could see many beautiful sites and learn a lot about the history and the traditional life of our nation.
