Summer University for Chinese Students

After an intensive two-week English language training, 28 Chinese students have been given a certificate on Monday morning.

Chinese secondary school students spent two weeks at the Eszterházy Károly University. The summer university aimed to improve the language proficiency of the students.


At the closing ceremony, Katalin Tayler, the Head of Centre for International Relations explained that the students could study and relax at the same time since they visited Wien and Budapest as well.

She emphasized that it is vital to see the world through other peoples' eyes. The Vice-Rector of the Eszterházy Károly University, Dr. Ilona Dr. Pajtókné Tari contended that we should travel as much as we can to be able to get acquainted with other cultures.

She emphasized that foreign language skills are essential in our knowledge-based society. She wished the students many great trips and memories and she stated that the students are always welcome at the Eszterházy Károly University.
