Wine Culture and Wine Gastronomy Summer University

The third Wine Culture and Wine Gastronomy Summer University was taking place this year at the Eszterházy Károly University where students from Beijing Union University, (BUU) participated in a three-week programme.

The members of the BUU group took part in a special journey where they could get acquainted with wine culture and wine gastronomy which is unique all over the country.

On the three University Campuses (Eger, Sárospatak, Gyöngyös), students could have a better understanding of the Eger, Tokaj and Mátra wine regions and they could also gain some insight into the national wine production.

In addition to wine culture, students were also able to improve their English proficiency related to the topic. Most students have never been to Europe or Hungary before, so this journey was an unforgettable experience for them.
